AiCE Community
Restoring Africa’s Global Leadership Through Technology
What is AiCE Community?
AiCE Community (African Institute for Computing Excellence) is a Pan-African technology ecosystem focused on training world-class software engineers while grounding them in African history, values, and responsibility.
We believe Africa does not lack talent — it lacks systems. AiCE exists to build those systems and scale African engineering excellence across the continent and beyond.
AiCE SE
AiCE SE is the Software Engineering education arm of AiCE Community. It is a cohort-based, project-driven program designed to take learners from foundational computing to full-stack software engineering and AI-assisted development.
Structured academic progression
Clear prerequisites and milestones
Real production-ready projects
Certificates earned through demonstrated competence
African Studies & Pan-African Ideology
Alongside technical training, all AiCE SE students complete a year-long parallel program in African Studies & Pan-African Ideology.
This program cultivates historically conscious, culturally grounded, and socially responsible African software engineers — engineers who understand where they come from and who their work serves.
Our Vision
Our vision is to train and empower tens of millions of Africans in software engineering and computing excellence — building African-led solutions for Africa and the world.
Africa’s future will be engineered.
Learn software engineering the right way. Build meaningful technology. Be part of a serious Pan-African tech movement.
